General Provisions

Offers: Offers are valid for 15 days from the date of the offer. Promotional offers with specific discounts or “stock clearance” may have different deadlines.

Prices: The prices quoted may include or exclude VAT depending on the contract type. Please contact us if there is any uncertainty.

Price changes : The agreed price may be adjusted after the kitchen has been measured or other circumstances as specified in the quotation. Customers will usually be informed of price changes within 3 days of the measurement. Changes of up to 5% of the total order do not require prior notice. Currency differences or changes in customs duties, taxes, Raw material costs or similar can also affect the price.

Product Information: Product information and maintenance instructions must be followed carefully. Sample products may differ from the final product, and small deviations must be accepted. Quality complaints due to natural variations in stone will not be processed.

Delivery time: The delivery time stated in the offer is indicative. Delays of up to 6 weeks do not entitle you to compensation. If the delivery is delayed by more than 6 weeks, compensation may be considered if a special agreement has been reached. In the event of a delay on the part of the customer, the customer is obliged to pay the final invoice.

By confirming the order and/or paying the advance payment, the customer confirms that the specifications, descriptions and drawings are clear and in accordance with what is desired.

Delivery time is calculated from receipt of advance payment.

Measurement and cancellation: If the customer chooses not to proceed after measurement or does not confirm the order within 2 weeks after measurement, only the measurement service will be invoiced.

Product Marking: Yourstone marks the products with a logo (14×60 mm or 18×60 mm) placed on the countertop as close to the corner as possible. The logo can be removed at the customer’s request without damaging the stone.

Receipt of Goods: Products are considered received when the delivery confirmation is signed by the customer. Subsequent complaints will not be processed. By paying the deposit, the customer is deemed to have accepted Yourstone’s terms of sale.

 

Payment terms: Advance payment of 100% of the order amount upon order confirmation.

 

Right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been specially customized. Return of products after written agreement will be charged to the customer with return costs.

Assembly and Installation

Foundation: To ensure sufficient manpower and equipment, the customer must specify any challenges (such as floors, narrow stairs, etc.) in advance. The foundation must be ready for installation, with flatness within +/- 2 mm.

Adjustments: Any major adjustments must be carried out by the customer or the customer’s craftsman. Wall tiles must not obstruct the installation, and other surfaces must be free of obstacles.

Additional services: Electrical and plumbing services, grouting, and cleaning are not included in the installation. Any additional costs due to incorrect groundwork will be charged to the customer. Additional visits cost from 1500 NOK up to 4500 NOK excluding VAT.

Other Conditions

Stone Slab Properties: Stone is a natural material, and variations in color and texture are normal. Such variations, as well as any professionally performed repairs, must be accepted.

Force Majeure: Force majeure events exempt Yourstone from liability and may delay delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, unforeseen circumstances such as fire, strikes, raw material shortages or transportation problems.

Disputes

Conflict resolution: Any disputes shall be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If a solution is not reached, the matter may be brought to court in accordance with Norwegian law.
